Dear All
Just a quick update .... I DID IT!!!
I cycled over the finishing line at Land's End with Chris at 1330 hours on Saturday 26th July in bright sunshine ... having cycled a total of 980 miles in 14 days to get there!
If you are visiting this page for the first time - please do sponsor me in order to aid my swift recovery!!!
If you want to see the highlights (there were no disasters or lowlights) of the journey, - please go to www.thepastyrun2008.blogspot.com
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Pasty Run 2008 (named because I am cycling the length of the country the wrong way round (against prevailing winds), so that I can finish my 1000 mile journey in my home county of Cornwall - the home of the pastry delicacy that is the pasty!)
I am cycling in memory of my mother, Ann, and trying to raise as much money as possible for the RNLI's "Train One, Save Many" campaign for the crew based at Rock Inshore Lifeboat Station, North Cornwall.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now! - Many thanks for your support ... Becca x
