Thanks for visiting our JustGiving Page.
We are taking part in the Ramshackle Rally Valencia 2010 and hope to raise as much money as possible for The Oxford Young Carers Project in the process!
The Rules
Buy a car that costs £150 or less.
The car must be M Reg or older...Yes we are talking 1995!
The car must be themed...we went for The PitStop (see what we did there).
We Drive from Dover to Valencia in 4 long days.
Sounds easy doesn’t it?! Well we're doing this in Mid-August (20th - 25th (plus 2 days as we're driving back)) with no air conditioning, staying in the most basic budget hotels available, all costs are being covered by us and one of us has only had a licence for 7 months - I don't know who should be more worried (us or the other road users)!
With neither of us having any mechanical skills finding a road worthy car was problematic but we finally found one (with a little help) and the preparation has begun!
