About the charity
The Professional Rugby Players Association (PRA) Benevolent Fund provides support for players who have retired from professional rugby due to serious injury or illness.
Beneficiaries include Matt Hampson and Alistair Hignell who have shown tremendous courage in their battles with their injuries and illness. We have also posthumously helped the Nick Duncombe Memorial Trust and Jarrod Cunningham, the former London Irish full back who passed away in 2007 from Motor Neurones aged just 39.
