Just to let you know that Ella and I completed the Paddock Wood Half Marathon in 2 hours and 21 minutes with Ella crossing the finishing line a few strides ahead of me.  It was a wonderful race around the beautiful Kent countryside in glorious Spring weather.   We are pleased to announce that we exceeded our fund raising target  and raised approximately £1600 in aid of Hospice of the Weald.  Donations can still be made via our Just Giving webpage www.justgiving.com/therunnerbeanz .

Ella and I regularly go out running together, come rain or shine across the muddy country fields with our gorgeous dog, Sandie! Both Mike (hubby) and myself have suffered from cancer in the past 7 years, so what a great way to prove that I’m back on top form whilst raising money for such a worthy cause.

Hospice in the Weald is a local Hospice, just outside of Sevenoaks, which has looked after some very special people, close to our family. As you may know, hospices do not receive any government funding and can only operate by kind donations from generous people, like yourselves.
