The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Charity is the official charity for the Freeman Hospital. The charity enhances patient care, treatment and experience through a wide variety of grants; supports innovative research and facilitates additional training and support for NHS staff. In addition to our online donations, as at 30th April, we have received postal donations of over £362,000  !!!! WOW, how fantastic.  I want to sincerely thank everyone who has donated, however, we still have a long long way to go, so please keep the donations coming in.  The minimum we need to get The Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre up and running is £500,000 but we need much, much more than that to make it the BEST in Europe, so we need your help.

There are a few tables left at my Celebrity Sports Dinner on Friday 9th May at St James' Park which will be a great evening and a way of showing your support to The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.  Everyone is welcome.  It will be a great night.  Special guests include Bobby Davro, Sir Bobby Charlton, Steve McLaren, Stuart Pearce, Bryan Robson, Alan Shearer, Chairmen and Managers from Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough and many many many more.... Anyone interested, contact Newcastle United  on 0191 2018525 - £75 per person or £750 table of 10.
