Life for kidney patients can be mentally and physically demanding Those on dialysis have the relentless sessions linked to their machines and for others there are hospital visits, treatment decisions and the possible highs and lows surrounding transplantation.

It's not only demanding, exhausting and at times debilitating for patients, but also for their close family.

The BKPA works hard to break the monotony of treatment for patients by amongst other things offering holidays to children and adults, who would otherwise be unable to go.
