My personal message:

Update - I've done it!!!!

I made it round in 5hrs and 18 minutes - some 40 odd minutes better than I expected and 12 minutes quicker than my personal target of 5:30.

38 minutes for the swim

2:50 for the bike

1:45 for the half marathon.

Fuller race report will follow.  If you prefer to sponsor 'in arrears' than 'in advance', please sign up below.

Thanks to all those who have pledged so far.

Ian - a Vitruvian!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Here's what I'll have to do for your money:

Swim 1,900m (that's 76 lengths of a pool) in a lake

Cycle 53 miles (that's roughly the same distance from London to Brighton)

Run 13.2 (a half marathon)

It might take me 6 hours or so to complete - see the photo to see how much pain I'll be suffering (and that race was half the distance!) - so dig deep please!!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Windsor Ascot Maidenhead District Sports Association For The Disabled will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
