I am organising a 30th birthday party in memory of my late son Dave who passed away after contracting bacterial meningitis in 1999. Dave would have been 30 this November and this fundraiser is a unique opportunity to celebrate his life in a positive way.

I would like to ask anyone who has celebrated or who will be celebrating their 30th birthday this year to raise £30 for Meningitis Research Foundation.  This can be achieved in any way you choose.

Although great progress is being made in the fight against this life changing disease, there remains an immense amount of work to fulfill our vision of a world free from meningitis.
