Meet Thomas. Thomas is an energetic, funny, loving three year old. In January 2011, just before his third birthday, Thomas was diagnosed with cancer, a few days later the diagnosis got worse, Thomas had Stage Four High Risk Neuroblastoma.
The lives of Thomas, his two siblings and the rest of our family have been changed beyond recognition. Thomas has undergone induction chemotherapy, surgery, high dose chemotherapy with stem cell rescue and is due to start radiotherapy in the coming weeks.
Thursday 19th January, Today we received the news that we feared the most, Thomas has relapsed. To make matters worse, Thomas has relapsed in the brain. Scans revealed a tumour the size of a small apple, so now we need to get him to the Big Apple, New York, where there is a treatment called 8H9 that can save his life. This treatment costs £500,000, but with your help we CAN do this. Please help us give Thomas this chance at life, he hasn't given up, so neither will we.

FAN provides assistance and support in all aspects of dealing with Neuroblastoma. Our main objective is to help get UK children life saving treatment usually only available abroad at great expense. FAN also provides days out, wishes and holidays, campaigns for awareness and change, and more.
