My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I lost my wonderful and inspirational sister Helen in a tragic car accident in 2005. She was a great person and was much loved by everyone around her. Her passions were theater, dance, music and arts. My family and her then boyfriend Ben, decided to set up a charity in her memory. The Helen Foundation raises money for local arts aimed primarily at children, who are not so able to afford the costs involved in following their dreams.

The Helen Foundation is an arts-based charity that motivates, inspires and supports young people in all branches of the arts in Teignbridge, South Devon. It sponsors arts workshops, arts-based projects, school prizes and individual bursaries to young people - so just go for it and dare to dream!
