Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We are raising money for Sue Ryder's Leckhampton Court Hospice (in Cheltenham) after witnessing first hand the incredible medical care and emotional support they not only offer to their patients but to their patients families and loved ones too.

My Mum sadly passed away in February 2017 after a long battle with Cancer. She had several stays at Leckhampton Court and I can honestly say that the care that was given to my Mum in her last few days of life was incredible, she always said that she was happy there and I can see why. Each and every member of staff is lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Leckhampton Court did so much for my Mum and looked after her with every ounce of care that she deserved... now I feel it's my time to give something back to them so that other families can benefit as I did, to think that I can give another daughter the chance to say their last goodbyes in such a caring and special place is one of the reasons I have taken on this challenge.

Leckhampton Court rely on the generosity of people like you and I to help raise over £2 million needed each year to ensure that they can continue to provide specialist palliative and end of life care to the people of Gloucestershire.

Our Three Peaks Challenge involves us climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales over three days.

It is fast-paced, physically challenging and considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges. We will take on the heights of Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. During the three days and will trek just over 26 miles and ascend to a total height of almost 10,000 ft... driving over 1100 miles!

Please remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe, and they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to Sue Ryder and make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster!

Donating by Text: All you have to do is text “ TPKS52 ” and your donation amount to 70070. For example: TPKS52 £5.

It's that simple, should you want to donate more than £5, then you are awesome! Words won't describe the emotion, should I raise enough to meet my target.

Whatever you are able to donate really will make a difference.

Thank You!
