ThreeOneSix are a church / community band based in Preston, Lancashire. Band member's ages range from 17 to 60something...We play our music solely for the enjoyment and benefit of others - we take no financial reward! A friend of ours - Dave Topping - wrote some powerful words that we immediately associated with BBC Children In Need, and one of our band members - Mike Cushing - wrote original music to fit the words. Thanks to the kind-hearted people at Anchor Studios in Preston (who worked long hours to record the band and mix the music for utterly minimal reward), we have produced our song "Poor Kid". For most of the band, it was a first visit to a recording studio and we all enjoyed ourselves hugely.
For just £1 (or as much as you would like to give!), you can receive your own MP3 copy of this original song. Every penny we raise will go direct to Children in Need - and for UK based visitors to this site, your donation can be increased through the application of Gift Aid. All you need do is:
