London Marathon 2009!
Virgil the Thunderbird has done it!!!!!
A New World Record of 3hrs 11minutes and 50 seconds!!!

He wants to beat the World Record for "Fastest Marathon Dressed as a Film Character"!
It's a head to head challenge between Virgil and Maximus (Gladiator). Maximus holds the record of 3hrs 22 mins - Virgil is going to try and cut loose from those (somewhat restrictive) strings and claim a World Record for the Thunderbird Scope crew!
You can help! - I need sponsorship! I'm doing this to raise money for Scope - Scope's aim is to achieve equality for disabled people - they are a great charity that need supporting - hence why I'm dressing up as a puppet on a string!!!!
This is an actual World Record attempt - likely to be televised - you can track my run on the day by Texting "Run " to 83040 - follow the online instructions - my bib number is 28299!
Look out for further updates - Virgil has run a half marathon in 1hr 38mins - so it's going to be close!!!
