We did it!!! We did it!!! 24 HOURS AND 35 VILLAGES. The walk was fantastic, walking from day to night and back to day is an amazing experience. We saw strange and wonderful things as we walked along, gate crashed a wedding in a barn, met a strange person with tent lost on the moors, got chased by rampaging mummy cows and followed by collie dogs we wanted to take home! We were treated to drinks and refreshments as we passed by and joined by fellow walkers who gave us both encouragement and money! So there are so many people we need to thank, the team at Village Aid for all the help with publicity and joining us on the walk. The pubs and shops along the way who acted as sign in points, Garrie our fantastic support team who was there with nourishment and help whenever we needed it. We love you heaps! Georgia our night time walker who is an ace with a compass in the dark even if her sightings of ghost cats did scare us and the searching to discover the causes of strange smells in a graveyard was slightly weird! The smell by the way was a really really dead badger! Nice Georgie. The money is still rolling in and for that we are really grateful, the support and encouragement we have had, has been amazing so thanks to all those kind people who have donated to our just giving page and to those who have turned up at our door bearing gifts. You are stars. If you still want to donate but simply forgotten there is still time go to our page at justgiving.com/tiedeman, Here you will with some good luck, or is it good IT skills!!, be some photographs of the walk cows and all. Watch this space as we intend to do a bigger and better event next year and are looking for conscripts ops no I mean happy volunteers to join us on the walk.
