Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the ’s most common inherited life threatening disease it affects over 7,500 people in the and one person in 25 carries the defective gene. Each week five babies are born with CF and, sadly, each week three young lives lost. The ‘Better Life Appeal’ is a registered charity based at in the Vale of Glamorgan. Llandough Hospital has the only adult CF centre in Wales caring for over 180 patients with CF and the ‘Better Life Appeal’ looks to raise funds to provide its patients with the best care, support, advice and encouragement to meet the needs of each individual and their families with this life long disease.
Patient numbers are growing and there is a need to increase the multidisciplinary team and improve the current services by adding new and often very expensive equipment, to this end the ‘Better Life Appeal’ was launched.
Please help me to raise desperately needed and valuable funds for this very worthwhile and much needed facility and help those suffering with CF to achieve a better quality of life.
Thank you for your support.
