Nearly 1 in 3 of the young people who come to PACE have attempted suicide before they contact the service.
I have been involved with PACE for nearly 5 years and believe the organisation does some amazing things. I am therefore very sad to say that a number of excellent groups and projects are facing closure following recent cuts to funding. In particular the organisation's work with young people and in schools is looking likely to end.
The care, understanding, support and friendships they find in the youth services have a huge impact on their lives. I would hate to see this lost.
Please consider helping PACE to maintain its support to young lesbian, gay, bisxeual and transgender people. PACE finds people when they are lonely, afraid and ashamed and helps them to discover the joy and hope they need.
