On November 28th 2007  Joe was diagnosed with NF1(Neurofibromatosis) and a brain tumour. What followed was a year of chemotheraphy and hospital visits.

Sunday 13th April 2008, Joe was in bed feeling rough, the TV was on,  the  London marathon. Something we watched every year. We were talking about how with a positive attitude you could get through anything. At which point we decided that I could run the marathon if I had the right attitude.  

Joe has taught me a lot over the last year, . 

We chose Dreamflight for our charity as this holiday gave Joe  something to focus on and look forward to when he was at his lowest. It gave Joe the chance in a lifetime to visit Florida and experience things that only before he could have dreamt of and it's given Joe endless happy memories.

We all think that Dreamflight truly is a remarkable charity and I am proud to do this for them on behalf of Joe.
