Downtown Radio Cool FM’s Cash for Kids are ‘buying time’ for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, this June we are aiming to raise as much cash as we can to help children and young people who are not expected to live to reach adulthood.
The money we raise will make a significant difference to children, young people and their families in Northern Ireland. We are trying to buy time to provide:
‘Hospice at Home Time’-£25ph Specialized nursing care in the child or young persons own home
‘Respite Care Time’-£30ph Specialized nursing care for the child or young person at the hospice
‘Play Time’-£21ph Expert play specialists to help the children and young people relax and have fun like every child should
‘Time to relax’-£35ph Expert Physio and hydrotherapy in the hospice
‘Time to say good bye’-£25ph Bereavement support time to help the family come to term with the reality of their situation
Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice supports children, young people and families who are suffering life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. Some of these children and young people will not live into adulthood – ALL of them deserve to be given the best possible care to ease there pain and stress and bring joy into their lives.
It’s TIME to take action and give these children and young people the specialist time they desperately need! – and access to all the things other children take for granted. We need to help create a space which is a ‘home from home’ for these children, where they can socialise and be with others who are suffering with similar illnesses.
