WE DID IT!!!!!!!! Hi everyone, you will be pleased to know that I managed it somehow, I ran the London marathon on the 23rd April and got round in 4hours 54mins!! By the time I collect in monies we will have raised over £1600 which will have smashed my target so everyone give yourself a pat on the back!!!Thank you. The weather was awful but that didnt DAMPEN my spirits and I had lots of support on the sidelines by the family and that really helped keep me going!! Special thanks go to Mum and Dad for cheering me on on the day but also for their efforts in fundraising aswell, you have been great!! Also big shout out to Katie and Sarah (my sisters if anyone is unaware) for their support aswell as Dean and Steve! There were also some surprise guests in the crowd with very distinct accents who for some reason kept telling me to, "eh, eh, calm down" so big thanks to Simon, Mike and Jonny it was great to see you all and sorry if I gave Jonny and Mike a fright when I leapt into the crowd to see them near Canary Wharf!!! Lastly I would like to thank my girlfriend Jenny who also ran the marathon this year and who has been a great training buddy through the months and was also a major factor in me finishing the race on the day, she kept me going with her nattering and her determination which I didnt realise she had till then, a real star!!
