As you may know, I have decided to run the London Marathon '09 for charity!

As the marathon is in April 09, this has resulted in me training throughout an English winter - early mornings in the dark, with frequent sub-zero temperatures and long runs taking up most my Saturdays!  Well at least its keeping me out of the pub (sometimes).

I know in these times of credit crunch it can be hard to dig deep, but please do. I have commited to raising £1,500.

The charity I am running for is a mental health charity - WPF therapy. I believe in these times of turmoil, with the world in almosy unprecedented upheaval, having someone there to help those in need is very important... "One in four people experience mental distress at some point in their lives.  It affects young and old, rich and poor, people from cities and isolated rural areas.  It destroys lives and can happen to anyone" (Mind UK). I think given the current climate this is, and will continue to be, especially so.
