Thanks for taking the time to visit Andrew's JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Andrew died on July 30th 2009 as a result of a fall in the Picos mountains of Spain, aged just 17. So far, about £5000 has been raised in his name to support the Kawaza School Charitable Trust (www.kawaza.org), a charity supporting local schools and education provision in the South Luangwa valley, North Eastern Zambia. Andrew visited this project while on a family holiday in 2007. We, his family have chosen this charity as Andrew so loved learning and enjoyed just about every aspect of his own schooling. We are sure that he would be happy to know that, by remembering him, other young people are being offered new educational opportunities to improve their lives.

We have set a target of doubling the money raised so far, that is another £5000 for Kawaza. As Robin Pope Safaris provide all the administration for the Kawaza charity, all the money raised will go towards improving the standard of education on offer in this beautiful but impoverished region of Zambia.

Please note that the Kawaza School Charitable Trust is now a part of Project Luangwa, a project which covers a wider area and seeks to fund other essential local needs as well as the education of children.
