My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page and hopefully supporting me and the Neuro Foundation!!

I am running the London Marathon on April 22nd 2012 for a cause that is very close to my heart, Neurofibromatosis (NF). NF is a neurogenetic condition that affects almost 25,000 people in the UK alone but yet it is a condition none of us seem to know. Our eldest daughter Tillie was born with NF1 and is as yet relatively unaffected by one of the many symptoms that this condition can cause.

The Neuro Foundation is crucial in helping to support those children and families whose lives are affected by Neurofibromatosis and they do a wonderful job in raisng awareness adn improving lives. Like many charities they are finding it challenging to raise money in these difficult economic times so I would be extremely grateful if you would consider contributing to this wonderful charity by sponsoring me to endure approximately 3.5hrs (bullish!) of pain in April.
