My personal message:

Hi,

About two years ago, whilst working for an manufacturing firm, I was looking for a Natural Search Agency to help with our website. I came across Spannerworks, and saw from their website that a group of employees were about to climb Kilimanjaro in aid of the Amani Kids Home. I was truly impressed, and felt this would be a great company to work for.

Two year later, I’m now working for Spannerworks as an Account Manager, and I am thrilled to be part of the second expedition with 7 colleagues.

Having been a foster carer for more than five years, I am acutely aware of the huge impact that a safe environment, with nutritious food, health care, love, and education can bring to vulnerable young children. In the UK we are fortunate enough to enjoy funding to support our most unfortunate of children. In Tanzania there is a huge shortage of resource, so raising money for the Amani Kids Home is a great opportunity to make a tangible difference.

As the old man of the team (34!), and also currently with a broken wrist, my personal aim is to show the young ‘wipper snappers‘ in our group a thing or two about climbing mountains!

As part of my fund raising efforts, I have been baking Cakes and Biscuits for my colleagues at work, in return for donations.

Thank you to all of my friends, colleagues, and clients who have thus far helped my to raise money towards the Amani Kids Home.
