My story

Hi All,

I'm trying to raise as much money as I can for the Prince's Trust! I'm doing this be participating in the Prince's Truest Great Wall Of China Bike Challenge!

The challenge

I'm going to be cycling 400km in 5 days for the Princes Trust.

This is going to be anything but a nice holiday! I'll be cycling for around 6 -8 hours each day, often over hilly and difficult terrain. I'll be following the wall as it climbs deep mountains and drops back down to sea level. So I’m going to have to train for lots of uphill cycling on rocky, challenging terrain. No plush hotels either, I’ll camping under the stars with the rest of the wild animals!

The route runs alongside the Great Wall (rumors that the wall was built to keep me out in the first place are speculation at best) and I’ll travel alongside the immense un-restored parts of the Wall to where it finally reaches the Yellow Sea.

The Prince's Trust

The Princes Trust supports young people, ages 14 - 30, to overcome barriers and get there lives working. This is achieved through practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, the trust helps them realize there potential and transform their lives.

Now for the blurb:
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prince's Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many many thanks for your support. Remember it all counts!
