Many of you will know that this is not my first charity running event and I would like to thank everyone for their continued support, particularly with the credit crunch making the economic outlook so uncertain.

This year I am running the Flora London Marathon 2009 to raise money for Unique, a support group for families whose children have a rare chromosomal disorder. When our daughter was diagnosed with such a disorder in February 2007, Unique was an invaluable source of information and guidance. Unique is not a large charity and relies solely on donations from people such as yourself. 

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me, as Unique gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
