This year Tony Man reaches his 60th Birthday and has chosen to celebrate by
doing a 60 mile walk over 6 days through the New Forest. His trusty
companions on this journey are physical representations of the 2 charities
that Tony is hoping to raise not only awareness for, but also a little
money, The Orchid Trust and The Labrador Rescue Trust.
The First of the companions is Malc Russell, Rusty, a long time friend who has recovered from male cancer. Not only will Rusty be accompanying Tony on
the walk but he is also making the trip from Sweden to do it.
The second set of companions to accompany Tony are Rolo & Fudge, two of the
most fantastic characters you could ever meet. Rolo & Fudge are both
Labradors who Tony, and his wife Jenny, have adopted from the Labrador
Rescue Trust. Wherever Tony is Rolo and Fudge are not far behind.
The route for this journey is through the New Forest, the planning of which
has been put together by Tony, and Martin & Ian, two of the New Forest
Keepers. The event starts at Holmsley campsite on the 3rd of June 2008. A
full itinerary will be posted in the next few days along with a blog to keep
all interested parties apprised of the preparation and stages of the
journey.
Please support Tony on his 60 mile walk for fellowship. Donations can be
