My story

Having worked at the World Horse Welfare ( the new name for the International League for the Protection of Horses) for the past 8 years I have seen some horrendous welfare cases brought into our farms. The most recent one at Spindles Farm Amersham has shocked all of us with the numbers of horses involved. With over 30 dead and 111 needing rescuing the charities have put in a fantastic effort to help these poor animals. Sadly World Horse Welfare is currently working on other large number cases and these continue to come in throughout the year. After rescue the subsequent care can take many months, even years as horses cannot be re-homed while prosecutions are taking place.
I have decided to run this years Edinburgh Marathon to help raise funds for cases such as this. I've been  training hard for the last five monthsto ensure I complete the 26.2 mile course.

Please sponsor me online and help these poor creatures to have the life they deserve.

Many thanks for your support.
