will be taking on the Manchester to Blackpool 60 mile bike ride on Sunday 12th July.
The event is organised annually in support of the Christie Hospital and we're looking forward to taking part in what is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
However, we're also going to take this opportunity to raise some much needed funds for a fantastic charity called Cyclists Fighting Cancer.
Cyclists FC provides bikes and equipment to children and young people who have been affected by cancer and promotes cycling as the best form of exercise based rehabilitation for those children undergoing and recovering from cancer treatments. To encourage them further Cyclists FC also give bikes to their siblings and in many cases their parents in order that they can take part in an activity as a family once again after what can be years of hospitalisation and disruption.
Every penny raised goes directly to the charity, making a very real and immediate difference. To find out more about Cyclists FC and the positive impact they've had visit http://www.cyclistsfc.org.uk.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cyclists Fighting Cancer gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
