I work for a charity called Cornerstone Foundation (Global) as the Project Manager of the 'Touch the Future Capital Campaign 2008 -2012'.

The Campaign is international running in the UK, Nigeria and US at the same time. It's a simple idea really. If we want things to change and for people to have a better life then it’s up to us to help make that happen. Without us nothing changes, nothing.

We already make a difference everyday! Sometimes a positive one, sometimes a negative one, sometimes a big one and sometimes a small one. Our very existence makes a difference.

Today you get to make your difference a positive one, a good one and a big one! No matter how much you can give, it all counts!

 

I know that many people alreay give to some form of charity or help in some way and for that we are all grateful. So Thank You. But with so many in poverty they need all the help they can get and we need you support to help them. 

We know that change is possible. You get to be part of it, because it cannot be done without you.  

So I've started this JustGiving page to ask people to just give. To give whatever they can so that they can be a part of why in Nigeria the 52, 900 mothers who die yearly, as a result of complications in their pregnancy or childbirth, is just not ok or acceptable.

I am asking you to be part of why 1, 233, 750 (one million, two hundred and thirty- three thousand, seven hundred and fifty) Nigerian children dying each year is not just a number on a page.

Cornerstone Foundation (Global) together with Babcock University is building the Ben Carson College of Health and Medical Sciences.

It will be a 750-bed teaching hospital with a 200-bed Children's Hospital and a 250-bed Women's Hospital.

It will have five schools of medicine to train Doctors, Nurses and Pharmacists.

It will also have a research centre to allow medical research to be done in Africa.
