WELCOME TO TRABANT TREK'S UK FUND-RAISING PAGE!
UK team members: Dan Murdoch (NOTE SAMANTHA ROSE UNFORTUNATELY CAN LONGER GO ON THE TRIP)
On 23rd July 2007 Dan joined an eight-strong team in Zwickau, Germany. Their mission; to drive to Cambodia and raise $300,000 for two Cambodian children's charities, M'LOP TAPANG and MITH SAMLANH.
The 16,100 mile road was a long and bumpy one, especially in the chosen mode of transport, the Trabant.
But after six months the team finally arrived in Cambodia on January 5th, 2008.
The journey took two months longer than planned, and only half the team and two of the four cars made it.
The crazy trek attracted media interest across the globe and has so far raised tens of thousands of dollars for Cambodian children.
