Working with local grassroots charities and NGOs in over 30 countries across the globe, the GVI-CT manages and fundraises for numerous long-term programs. These further the works of GVI and their partners and aim to alleviate poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation and climate change through: education; nutrition; conservation, income generation and capacity building.

My story

Hola amigos!

So here I am in Ecuador - surrounded by 4 schools full of eager young learners. This little lad who has fallen asleep on me is 3 yr old Luis - this was his first day at school and it all got a bit much!

Currently, I am raising money for our new scheme to help children fund their High School expenses - well, after the success of Plan Moo and our herd of cows, we needed another challenge!! So now we are building 4 pools in one of our communities, and then filling them with thousands of baby trout!! Once the trout grow fat and juicy, the children will sell them in the market - Plan Trout has begun!! A fantastic idea thought up by one of the Dads in the community. Please dig deep and donate to us online - we'll make good use of the funds!
