Treetops is an amazing place run by the Donna Louise Trust to provide respite and end of life care for children who have conditions that mean they are unlikely to live beyond their teenage years.  For the children and their families it's a haven - very alive and peaceful all at the same time.

The Trust are having to reduce their services this year as they are short of funds, which is just awful.  So, this news has been enough to get me off my couch and running again - it's been 20 years since I last ran 6 miles! 

And I've roped in some kind friends to help me along the way.
