My story
Someone we know had a tragic accident in November resulting in paralysis from her neck down. She is determined to walk again but needs the help of the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust.
We are four guys in our forties, Blokes With Spokes, who are planning to cycle around a large chunk of Cornwall on our Mountain Bikes. Our Pedal Of Honour will take place over 3 days starting in Newquay on Friday 13th April. We aim to cover 130+ miles linking The Mineral Tramways, The Pentewan Trail, The Cornish Clay Trails and The Camel Trail.
As I am the only one who is remotely fit, I aim to knock the other guys into shape before we set off! So please donate any amount you can afford to motivate Neil, Rick and Shaun into getting on their bikes and raise some much needed funds for the Trust.
Thank you.
Due to injury, Neil's place on the ride has been taken by Christian.
The Southern Spinal Injuries Trust is a charity that supports the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre which cares for people with a spinal cord injury in the South and South West of England. In addition to supporting the spinal centre the charity helps individuals by providing grants to purchase equipment, such as wheelchairs.
My charity
