Our personal message:

Hi,

This year I am aiming to cover 1000 km in races to raise money for St Dunstans. Given that I am as likely to win anything as half bricks are to float (and I have just described my swimming style) the definition of a race for this purpose is any event in which it can be proven that I have finished the required distance. For the arithmetically quick amongst you, this would mean averaging 2 marathons per month, every month of 2006. High points planned are Ironman USA at Couer D'Alene, Ironman UK and the Snowdonia and Edinburgh Marathons. This leaves almost 500 km to make up in smaller events throughout the year.

Please dig deep to support me in this series of events. Most of us will hopefully never have to live with the devastating effects of blindness and St Dunstan's does fantastic work to support former members of Her Majesty's forces who have lost their sight. Please support my appeal for hard cash to help support men and women who have served their country.
