Hi everyone. Thanks so much for supporting me and my chosen charity, Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS), in this challenge. I originally signed up to do my first triathlon on a whim and because it seemed like it “might be fun” but after deciding that I would then run it for charity I opted, in my usual style, to complicate things and make it harder. Why not?! So….. Three Events; Three Triathlons; Three Months.

For those of you unfamiliar with triathlon, it involves swimming, then cycling and finally running. All in the same race! The events I have raced in are the sprint triathlons (750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run) at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire (6 June); Scott Makani Eastnor Castle, Ledbury in Herefordshire (4 July); and South Coast Triathlon, Seaford, East Sussex (14 August). I have now completed all three and thus completed the challenge!


This is the first year I have competed in any triathlon event so it has been a challenge, but an enjoyable one and for a great cause.

WVS is a great charity which despite its small size does fantastic work all over the globe, supporting animal welfare charities through the provision of volunteers, supplies and, importantly, education and advice.
