Thank you to all those who attended and supported our open day in aid of LATCH. There is still money coming in but at present we raised just over £500 plus a lot of the money will attract gift aid tax rebates.

I had my waxing done as part of a specialist waxing workshop that we ran on Monday 16th. The trainer Andy works in Basingstoke and specialises in male waxing and demonstrated the latest techniques with strip wax (spread it on and rip it off with a cloth strip) and hard wax (spread it on and rip it off with your hand).

In the end I had my back, shoulders and upper arms done as well as my ears and nose. Three or four people had a go as I had plenty of hair to remove. So that I could share the event with you I've published some photos and they can be viewed as a slideshow for best effect. I only swore twice, once when my left side was being done at speed and once when my neck was being done.

To give you your money's worth we managed to get the closest to what one would call the 'money shot' when my neck was being done - which hurt a lot.
