Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My sister Josie McGivern (the one in the blue) lost her battle with breast cancer on December 26th 2007 at the age of 42. I would take Josie to Portsmouth, to St Mary's Hospital, for her treatment which was very tiring and stressful for her. The journey, which at one time was daily, was causing more discomfort to Josie.
Our local hospital, St Richards, is building a new cancer treatment unit.
Please please sponsor me to raise money towards our local hospital to prevent others from travelling so far.
I will be walking to the top of Ben Nervis in Scotland in September 08. A journey of approx 4500ft. I'm in training at the moment. The South Downs is not quite the same and my muscles ache already! Never knew i could ache in so many places. But all for a good cause.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: St Richard's Hospital Charitable Trust will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
