Story
At Trojan Training we believe everyone should have the opportunity to take part in sport. And that is why we are so passionate about raising money for WAMDSAD. We have seen first-hand the benefits that this amazing charity can give. WAMDSAD has improved the quality of life for many disabled and able-bodied people over the years through sport, fundraising and generally having fun. It also helps build confidence, self-esteem and gives people the opportunity to meet others.
Chris Lee has been involved with WAMDSAD for some time and has seen how the organisation helps disabled people get involved in sport. One of their key objectives is to promote awareness of disability through sport and recreation and particularly the integration of disabled and able-bodied people.
It is a voluntary charitable organisation that provides sport and leisure opportunities and facilities to the physically and sensorially disabled. It has a purpose-built clubhouse in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with approximately 700 members. Without help from companies like Trojan Training, WAMDSAD wouldn’t be able to continue providing this fantastic facility for so many people. And that is why we need your help!
Chris and Danny are taking part in Tough Guy 2010 and are aiming to raise £1,000 in sponsorship. Knowing we are helping such a worthwhile cause is what will motivate us as we face the gruelling assault course in wintery conditions.
