On Thursday 7th July 2005, over 50 people died in the worst terrorist attack ever to happen in London.
And it was not just the people who were killed, there were also hundreds of people who suffered horrific injuries both physical and mental, because of which they may never be able to travel on London's historic transport system (tube and buses) ever again.
The tube means a lot to us, it is the heart of London, without which it would be very difficult (if not time consuming) to visit our capital city! Sometimes we use the tube for commuting, shopping or sightseeing and sometimes we just travel round the whole system for the fun it! The 'tube challenge' community is as angered about this as the rest of the world, and we would like to say : "We will not be beaten", as well.
This is particularly relevant for people like myself who are unable to drive and therefore rely totally on our system of public transport. So please consider giving us a small donation. (Or a large one!)
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
London Bombings Relief Charitable Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
