My story

Bike the Baltic begins in Warsaw on August 16, 2008 and ends in St Petersburg on September 14, 2008, a journey of nearly 2200km! Turcan Connell hopes to raise £100,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care so please give generously.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK individual taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thankyou for your support.

The Turcan Connell 2200 Challenge Team

We are encouraging all sponsors to sponsor us as a team and support the individuals; please put in your message the name of the person in the team you are sponsoring in this event.

Sponsors are encouraged to give what they can afford. We suggest these levels of sponsorship £22 Bronze (two bricks to start building a new Marie Curie Hospice in Scotland), £220 Silver (will pay for four oxygen outlets that are vital in the care of cancer patients) and £2,200 Gold (will equip a multi-sensory room which provides relaxation therapies to people experiencing terminal cancer. Multi-sensory therapies can be essential to many people for sleep, relaxation and pain relief).

With best wishes and well done to Alex, Colin, David Donation by Tim Cornwell 16/12/08
