About our charity
Turquoise Mountain Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation investing in the development of Afghanistan’s traditional crafts, historic buildings and landscapes in order to preserve cultural heritage, improve living conditions and create economic opportunities. Current activities include training traditional craftsmen, regenerating historic areas and landscapes, and supporting traditional craft businesses.
