"A great opportunity" is a phrase used so frequently in the developed world without realising what opportunity means in the third world. Whilst we live in our fast moving world, Africa has become lost within its own beautiful landscape. The Citizens4Change charity has created a powerful tool to allow young Kenyans to find their soul, find their weaknesses, develop their strengths and live their lives for themselves.
The schools and projects they have embarked upon have given children a chance to graduate in the skills for life programme. Some have already been able to provide for themselves by gaining qualifications and skills and getting jobs in nearby towns.
The economic impact of such training, nurturing and development is the removal of the garbage filled shanty towns that have emblazoned themselves upon several proud communities.
It is our responsibility as citizens of the world to continue to nurture those less privileged. Your country needs you, well for the citizens for change, YOUR WORLD NEEDS YOU!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Citizens4Change gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

KENYA, OUR MOTHERLAND
Kenya, the abundant.
I shall cherish the country till the day I die.
With mountains so high they reach the sky,
With prairies where green grass grows.
Wild game parks with creatures flourishing below.
Kenya our motherland,
Once Bustling busy boisterous towns
Turned into blundering bloody frowns.
A country once revered amongst its peers,
Now their children are clinging to its bosom, please allay their tears.
Tears of innocent lives lost in vain
Thousands more lie in excruciating pain.
Another family destroyed, another family displaced.
This is far too much punishment for the great human race
Torn apart like a ravaging bulldog feasting upon its prey
Treated like animals with deep malicious affray.
For those who lay down their weapons, the hillsides blushed
For those fighting for democracy, morals were flushed.
Killed in a game called Politics’
Alleviating from the land, fun fuelled frolics.
Arise Africa and the world as one,
Every father, Daughter, Mother and Son.
Break the hand that betrays your trust
In a peaceful rebellion like an eagle in full thrust.
BELIEVE, we are like tea bags,
Not realising our strength until we are in hot water
Crisis upon crisis have taken us to the precipice
But together we can make this tragedy much shorter.
Nothing will stop this small anecdote.
For tomorrow we dream, brings peace, prosperity and eternal hope.
