Story
30/11/08 UPDATE:
Thank you everybody for being so generous in your sponsorship, I was overwhelmed by your generosity and interest in the house in Romania. I never thought I would raise anywhere near the final amount of £1,147.50, which once gift aid is included, has a total value to the Epiphany Trust of approximately £1,400. This is a a fantastic amount of money to the charity, and will fund the running of the house I am supporting for one month. I really cannot say thank you enough!
For those of you keen to see me put my hand in my pocket (and some of you may say there is a first time for everything), I added my 5% as promised. This came to £54.60 and is included in the total.
Many of you know that I run a lot, and once a year I run for charity. Lots of you have sponsored me previously and I am very grateful to you. In September 09 I shall again run the Glasgow Half Marathon for the Epiphany Trust. We've all set some target to beat and I hope you will join me again next year.
From me and the Epiphany Trust, and most importantly Adam, Simileana, Codrauta and Ana-Maria - THANK YOU!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. On September 7th I shall be running the Glasgow Half Marathon to raise money for the Epiphany Trust.
In March this year I was spent 2 weeks in Romania at the Arc, a half way house that is home to the 4 people you can see in the photo to the left. All 4 of the learning disabled adults grew up in an orphanage and, thanks solely to the work of the Epiphany Trust, now have the opportunity to live an independent life.
Without funding the house would not be able to continue and these 4 people would lose their home and face a return to the orphanage or life on the streets.
I'm asking you to donate and help support the work of the Epiphany Trust. All the money I raise will go this specific project.
Any amount you can spare will make a difference to the lives of these 4 young people. If you can donate, the amount will not be displayed on this page.
I am hoping to raise £750 and will add 5% to the total raised from my own pocket. I hope you will end up costing me!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Epiphany Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Any amount you can donate will make a difference. Thank you.
