WE DID IT!!!  Took us 3 hours, 28 minutes, not counting the time jostling for position at the starting line, or rowing upstream to our tugboat at the finish.  We were lucky to get one of the two days of sunshine in recent weeks.  We probably could have shaved 5-6 minutes off our time if it wasn't for the ballast Howard brought along in the form of some celebratory bubbly. But it was worth it!  And a fine way to rehydrate after rowing 22 miles...
