Story

I met Uncle Mamun for the first time a few hours before he passed away raheemahullaah, moments that I cannot forget. Allaah decreed that I meet him and I've written about the meeting in some detail here:

http://alkawni.com/2013/09/tomorrow-may-never-come/

For the Uncle we will build five wells InshaAllaah following the advice of our Prophet salallaahu 'alayhi wasallam who said to the meaning:

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubaadah said: "I said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, my mother has died. Should I give charity on her behalf?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ I asked, ‘What kind of charity is best?’ He said, ‘Providing water.’" [Reported by al-Nisaa’i]

We was able to raise for all 5 within a few hours!! Alhamdulillaah! We were also able to fundraise for 100 Qur'aans from which guidance of all mankind is sought. Each letter that is read will become a source of reward InshaAllaah.

We are now fundraising towards a Da'wah Centre in the Phillipines. The centre will provide free training, courses and literature to impoverished families and will also run a medical clinic once a week providing free consultation and medicines to poor women and children.

Some of us may have wanted to meet him but didn't get the oppurtunity to do so so let your donations be a means for you to support your brother. Perhaps someone will do the same for you when you go...
