I have chosen to align Uniquely Organic with the Born Free Foundation for its shared respect toward the power we have to change and protect our planet and the wildlife inhabiting it. Animals and environmental protection have always been a huge passion of mine which is the reason for offering only pure organic treatments and using ethical suppliers.
So what are the links between non-organic products/treatments and the plight of the Polar bear?
~ Huge amounts of carbon dioxide are pumped out by factories not using green energy.
~ Companies are not offsetting their carbon emissions caused by product transportation.
~ Unethical farmers are chopping down rainforests and using chemical-riddled fertilisers to grow non-organic ingredients for the beauty industry.
All of these points are contributing to global warming, which is causing the polar ice caps to melt and hastening the extinction of Polar bears. As it loses its hunting ground and is forced to swim up to 60 miles to find food, this beautiful creature is experiencing exhaustion, hypothermia and drowning.
