Story

A group of ex West Ham players are re-uniting 14 years after winning the FA Youth Cup to raise money for a fantastic cause.

After numerous text, emails, tweets and facebook messages we have got together those who can still actually run and entered a team in the Danny Mardell Knockout Challenge at Upton Park!

The event is run by the Down's Syndrome Association and is now in it's eighth year.

This year's event will take place on Saturday 1st June with 32 six-a-side teams taking part in this World Cup style knockout tournament that runs through group stages, knockout, quarters and semi finals with the final played on the full pitch.

Players are asked to pay/raise £75 each and family and friends can come along on the day with tickets for adults at £5 and kids going free.
