On March 25th 2017 I will be boxing for Cancer Research UK .... Why am I doing it...

... because it’s a great cause. And a chance to hopefully raise a wedge of cash to support the research into an awful disease that has taken away some of the most precious people I have had the privilege to know whilst fulfilling a lifetime dream of getting in the ring.

Throughout my life I have personally had to deal with losing my mother, two children, grandparents, father-in-law and countless other friends and relatives, equally I have been blessed with pretty good health so far in my life and in my times of need there has always been somebody there to hold me up, that is the driving force behind my desire to get involved and hopefully give just a small bit of help towards raising the funds which the organisation constantly needs to try and help others fight this terrible disease.

So if I am mad enough to do this please support my stupidity by donating as much as you can. if it is just £1 that will make such a difference so please, please, please do dig as deep as you can and if you can come along to the event to watch this old fool in the ring
