Why climb a mountain when you can run a marathon?! Some of us never learn!

With a little help from a little friend (and some bigger ones ... thanks Andrea and Mike) I made it across the finishing line at the Great North Run earlier this year. Hobbling onto the Metro, I couldn't imagine then having to run back to Newcastle ..... and I still can't! Running the London marathon is going to take motivation (Merlin's work around the world gives me that) and support (thats where you come in!) to keep me running through the winter and towards the finishing line on April 26th.
