Help for Heroes supports our wounded. Help for Heroes provides practical direct support to those servicemen and women wounded in the line of duty in the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As part of the City Salute campaign, Venturehaus is proud to be supporting the cause and will be holding a number of events throughout 2008 and 2009 to raise funds for Help for Heroes. The first of these took place recently on 19th June, when Major Simon Butt MERCIAN drew from his first hand experience to present on the challenges of commanding and leading troops on Operations in Helmand Province whilst fighting the Taliban. The next event is a wine tasting experience and is likely to take place in the City of London.
